C is for Clarion Call.
I know I’ve been shouting it from the rooftops that my story “Black Moon” was published in the third Clarion Call Anthology “Unbound”. Here’s the bookblast. And now for an interview with the editors…

Congratulations on the publication. The stories sound interesting, but I have to admit I’m not keen on the politics behind it. That’s a different discussion, though.

Thanks, Rebecca. I didn’t actively think about the politics when I heard about the anthology for the first time, I just happened to have a story that I wrote based on things happening in my country (turned into fantasy, of course) that fit the theme. I mostly focus on the liberty angle ๐

Ronel,
Congrats on being in another anthology! I used to like reading the collection of stories published by Reader’s Digest when I was younger. These days, I’m lucky to read a long blog post or Internet article. lol Thanks for stopping in to check out today’s iPad Art Sketch for the letter ‘C’. Happy A2Zing!

Thanks, Cathy ๐ Since joining Goodreads last year, I’ve been trying to read more, even if it’s only a chapter a night ๐ That’s why I like short stories: you don’t forget what’s going on.

Crikey, how interesting. As someone who’s co-operating on a piece of fiction for this challenge (and enjoying the process) I am really drawn to this idea. Thanks Ronel, a really thought provoking post.

You’re welcome. I love the idea of anthologies — especially because they come with a theme and certain expectations of content. It’s a great way to exercise those writing muscles ๐
